ImageBiopsy Lab has announced the European launch and medical device regulation CE certification of its IB Lab Squirrel, an artificial intelligence-powered tool to assess patients with scoliosis, according to a press release.
The IB Lab Squirrel uses AI to evaluate coronal balance and Cobb angles in patients with scoliosis, according to the release.
“Obtaining [medical device reporting] clearance serves as a significant validation of the accuracy and quality of our Squirrel module,” Richard Ljuhar, CEO and co-founder of ImageBiopsy Lab, said in the release. “We are proud to have achieved this milestone and are looking forward to the rollout of this novel AI tool to our customers across Europe,” he said.
